Many chefs return to our welcoming, Brisbane kids cooking classes again and again to try out the quirky, themed menus and cook with like-minded chefs who often become friends too.

Only 9 chefs are booked in per class working in teams of three, coming together weekly to make dinner.

Put your feet up and let the children prepare their own dinner for a change!

This is a fun and unique, after school, meal-making course with class sizes kept small to interact with kids, provide one-to-one tuition and get everyone cooking.

Dinner Club (mainstream) after-school programs.

Please email Karen with any questions
Please note:

  • Dinner Club is currently for grade 6+ kids and many regulars book in but newcomers are very welcome

  • These inclusive groups are run at a medium to fast pace with 9 kids in the kitchen, if you require specific NDIS cooking classes (six kids maximum in class, less hectic pace) please find the information here

  • The portion of food made goes home with the children and hopefully you might get a taster too!

Terms & Conditions

Please read our Terms and Conditions to decide if this type of class is right for your child:

  • Behaviour expectations; respectful, kind, safe and inclusive.

  • Classes are held at a medium to fast pace with turn-taking and listening to instructions needed to participate.

  • The safety of everyone is very important: We walk safely around the room, work at our designated station, clean up spills to avoid slipping, use heat carefully and as instructed and walk carefully with tools such as knives pointing down to the floor.

  • These are stand-up lessons to replicate the reality of being a chef and move about easily in the kitchen space. Please note, the classroom can also accommodate one wheelchair user.

  • Aprons are only worn by one participant  (please feel free to bring your own), surfaces are regularly disinfected and hands are frequently washed and dried with single use paper towel.

  • Participants just need to bring 2 plastic containers and a drink bottle. They will take home all food made and students need to arrive 5 mins early with enclosed shoes on and long hair tied back.

  • Class sizes are always kept small to be uniquely hands-on with kitchen skills to practice individually and within a group of 3.

  • Dietary requirements must be disclosed at time of booking and please also request a vegetarian option at this time.

  • Classes are targeted at specific age ranges and the lessons are 'stop and drop' unless otherwise arranged.
